Dinner by the woods
The last two nights have been humid and warm enough to eat out so we took our leftovers from the tower event up to a table in the new garden and enjoyed the late sunshine. We finished off with a special treat - Gooseberry Fool. What a great invention. Note the old Cardoon and the hemerocallis - was it Golden Chimes?

what a surreally perfect lawn... my cardoon is about to go over (last of the flowers now) and it's about 11' tall. Do you give yours compost etc?
ReplyDeleteThe cardoon is on an independent living program and gets no handouts at all. We are enjoying the surreally perfect lawn with only one species, so unlike the "species-rich" other bits of lawns.
